We need outgoing people to assist our clients in the use of our industry leading software services. Our Client Services team works with insurance agents and companies to resolve issues and answer questions that pertain to our compliance-centric software services.

Technical Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise including analysis, product and services implementation, training and support of clients;
  • Identify and evaluate technical and business needs, provide technical alternatives, recommend solutions, and participate in implementation;
  • Work with clients, vendors, and internal groups to ensure adherence to pre-defined specifications, smooth deployment of Sircon applications and completion of project deliverables;

Quality Assurance

We are in need of individuals who excel at finding software issues and identifying ways to prevent them from happening in the first place. Our quality assurance analysts are embedded with the software development team and support the team's charter of delivering valuable software that is easy to use and functions according to its requirements.   • Test software applications both manually and with test automation tools;
  • Create and maintain test plans and manual test scripts;

Software Product Management

We are currently looking for an energetic and talented professional to help our Product Management staff better understand insurance distribution market problems and needs. The Product Analyst is responsible for market and product requirements analysis and execution of adding/enhancing product capabilities throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and market/customer requirements, working with Product Managers to implement the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

Software Production Support

We are looking for an individual to complete production support tasks, assist with improving processes and procedures, internally troubleshoot client issues and maintain reference tables and schemas.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and assess impact of business and regulatory changes across all products and services;
  • Assist with preparation and updating of documentation for release notes and database reference table maintenance;
  • Modify database reference tables and unit test software;
  • Update environments based on customer requests, regulatory changes, and software updates;
  • Troubleshoot production issues to determine if they are related to database reference table configurations, software defects, or environmental issues and communicate those issues to the proper teams involved;
  • Create and unit test SQL scripts to deploy database reference table changes and perform data fixes;
  • Coordinate QA testing of production support items after they are unit tested; 
  • Respond to inquiries from internal staff regarding how the software works, whether a function may be completed without software modification;
  • Assist with the coordination of production support releases throughout the development, testing, and production deployment processes;
  • Perform the database reference table deployments to the pre-production and production environment;
  • Create test plans or guidelines for the various services;
  • Assist with the creation of utilities to automate production support tasks; and
  • Assist product development staff to design and implement software to reduce production support manual effort.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Access and Excel.  Oracle database knowledge is a plus;
  • Proficient in SQL and XML.  Oracle PL/SQL knowledge is a plus;
  • Extensive technical and problem-solving skills to deal with problems that are highly technical in nature;
