Community Initiatives

Sircon is committed to making a difference in our community. As a company we support several local charities and organizations, such as Ele’s Place and the Lansing City Rescue Mission. In 2007, we gave over $8,250 in charitable donations supported by our employee charity fund.

EVE, Inc. (formerly CADA) was Lansing's first domestic violence shelter. Its primary purpose is to provide shelter, support, advocacy, counseling, and crisis intervention, for women experiencing domestic violence. EVE, Inc. actively engages in educational and preventative efforts, which include increasing public awareness, funding, and enhancing legislation. Shelter, food, and personal needs are provided for over 800 women and children each year.

Ele's Place is a nonprofit, community-based organization whose mission is to create awareness of and support for grieving children and their families. Through peer support group programs, Ele’s Place helps children to cope with the death or life-threatening illness of a parent, sibling or other close family member or friend.

The City Rescue Mission is a Christian, non-denominational organization dedicated to helping the needy and homeless in the Greater Lansing area.
