South Dakota Selects Sircon Corporation's Web-based Platform to Manage their Division of Insurance
Web-Based Sircon for States™ Solution Provides Improved Service for Insurance Regulators, Companies and Producers
Okemos, Mich., November 14, 2006 - Sircon Corporation today announced that the state of South Dakota has signed a 5-year agreement to use its Sircon for States™ web-based solution, making South Dakota the 16th Sircon State. The move will dramatically increase the online services South Dakota provides to insurance carriers, agencies and producers across the country, enabling customers to connect with the South Dakota Division of Insurance 24 hours a day.
"The addition of Sircon for States is part of the Division of Insurance.s ongoing effort to better serve our customers," said Insurance Division Director Merle Scheiber. "The Sircon system enables direct online access, allowing us to deliver online, real-time services to our customers. It will go a long way towards minimizing paperwork and eliminating processing delays."
Sircon will enable the state of South Dakota to better manage insurance regulations including: enforcement case action, complaints, producer data, and rate and form filing. The service platform opens up direct online access to South Dakota for the first time for insurance carriers and producers to process electronic appointments, terminations, license applications, renewals and many other services.
